Authorities Call Off Hunt for Four-Year-Old Lost in Australian Remote Area
Australian law enforcement have suspended the hunt for a four-year-old who has been missing in the outback for almost twenty-one days, after fresh efforts proved unsuccessful to find any evidence of the boy.

The child was last seen playing around his residence on a isolated farmland near Yunta, about a significant distance from Adelaide, on 27 September.
His family member briefly departed for about half an hour before looking for him, only to realize the youngster missing, prompting one of the largest ground and aerial operations in the region's history.
Latest Position
Police - who do not believe wrongdoing - say they will carry on investigating, but that the matter has become a "search for recovery".
Last week, officials temporarily wound down the search, only to recommence it on this week alongside eighty Australian Defense Force members.
"Official the commissioner said authorities were looking a wider zone based on revised analyses from survival and rescue specialists, rather than any recent developments."
Search Obstacles
On Friday, officials confirmed that the latest search had not uncovered any signs of the boy.

About a vast area - an area roughly double the area of Edinburgh - has now been searched, and a specialized unit established recently is projected to carry on examining. Officials have not discounted more missions of the location in the coming days.

Authorities lately said the youngster's loved ones continue to be "resilient" despite the heartbreaking situation.
"One can understand just how they are coping... without having clarity as to exactly where their child is and what's happened to him. This would be devastating for any loved ones," Spokesperson authorities said.
By means of a spokesperson, the relatives family has before said they are "overwhelmed" by Gus's vanishing.
"This represents a shock to our household and acquaintances, and we are struggling to understand what has transpired," the spokesperson said.
"Gus's absence is noticed in all of us, and we miss him exceeding words can convey."
